Portfolio
Exceptional service
From initial conception through to installation, ours is a process which is finely tuned and based on over 30 years’ experience; a result of decades spent honing the techniques which truly set us apart.
One of a kind
While no two projects are ever the same, one commonality is quality craftsmanship – meaning the final product is guaranteed to be of the highest standard.
Expertise and passion
Our people share an inbuilt desire to create products that delight and inspire our clients. We’re skilled, knowledgeable and love to work with a range of materials and methods – from the ordinary to the unusual.
One of our favourite projects - Murano, chef Angela Hartnett’s Michelin-star dining experience nestled in the heart of Mayfair. The restaurant describes itself as an ‘unbuttoned celebration of Italian cuisine...an ode to Angela’s family heritage’ - and so we paid homage to the heritage of Murano decorative glass, produced on the Italian island of Murano and an art which dates back to the 13th century 🇮🇹
Our team handcrafted screens, wall lights, bar canopies and ceiling chandeliers, all possessing the same colour palette, shapes and textures. A beautiful result befitting Murano’s Michelin ambience and experience.

A sample range we put together following an enquiry we recently had for crystal-like glass. These pieces perfectly showcase the variable features that can be created depending on the differing density of the glass.

Having previously collaborated with the @houseofmaybourne at @claridgeshotel , it was a pleasure to be asked to support the refurbishment of the Blue Bar at @the_berkeley, the luxury 5-star hotel in Knightsbridge, overlooking Hyde Park. Our team created door panels using linear patterns, the kiln forming technique resulting in a unique texture, similar to reeded with a stripe effect but this time with richer depth and aspects of transparency specific to this method. We also created transparent lightboxes in matching panels, in order to provide a symmetrical door and panel arrangement in each room.

A beautiful project we worked on for @pragnelljewellery as part of the refurbishment of its venerable showroom in Stratford-upon-Avon.
Four handmade, arch topped mirrors, featuring an antique finish to reeded glass for a classical feel and so as to not detract from the stunning jewellery creations on display. As part of the creative process, a full-scale mock-up was created to qualify the detail of the finish, including the positioning of the antique, the density and the colour. The final result being the largest silvered reeded and antique panels we’ve crafted to date at 2.5m x 0.8m - the largest we can actually create is 4.5m x 2m.

Our work is bespoke - designed and crafted to meet the durability, functionality and aesthetic elements required by our clients.
Here’s a behind the scenes look at the manufacture and installation of two unique pieces of furniture for our client Fleet Service Ltd - a company branded, 200kg boardroom table and coffee table, with support provided in the form of fused and etched glass feet.

It was a pleasure to be asked to deliver a project for @bonheurbymattabe, the fine-dining restaurant from @chef.mattabe. Located in the heart of London’s Mayfair district, Bonheur opened its doors in late 2025 and was awarded two Michelin stars just three months later.
Our brief was to create glass art with soft textures set within a calm but luxurious colour palette. Following a comprehensive design development process, browns, golds and creams were selected. Our team then crafted chiffon fabric encapsulated in glass, to create backlit light boxes around the main dining area of the restaurant, along with a textured, topographical piece featuring bolder metallics for the focal barback panel. The glass, resins and fabric were all of the highest grade, ensuring colour transmission quality and clarity.
Collaboratively designed, manufactured and installed with framework provided by our parent company @thompsonscontractors.
Thank you to @bonheurbymattabe for sharing these stunning images of our work and congratulations to Matt and all the team on your outstanding Michelin success ⭐⭐

Sampling is an incredibly important aspect of Daedalian’s creative process. It provides further inspiration to clients and partners, allowing us to demonstrate how a proposed glass finish may complement wider elements of a project, and emphasising our commitment to working with only the highest quality materials.
Bespoke samples can be the first iteration of developing a concept render into reality, or equally, development of an existing sample - first submissions are often followed by changes until a ‘control’ is established, becoming the reference for both customer and studio. This is critical to ensuring expectations are met when the final installation arrives.
If you would like to find out more about the sample process, our full sample policy can be found at the link in our bio. To discuss further, please get in touch with our team of experts.

A closer look at the detail of two pieces of bespoke glass we created for a private residence in London.
A desktop crafted using thick fused glass
featuring the beautiful natural bubbles that occur when fusing pieces of cold glass into one block.
Side tables - laminated, toughened low iron glass with half ‘bullnose’ edges and a small border.
The side tables were required to be far thinner - where fused glass can be 4mm thick, it can’t be toughened (a technical aspect to remember when designing). With the border design, there was potentially a conflict between the organic bubbles and linear surface decoration.
Float (flat) glass was also better suited as it provides a consistency that enables edge profile polishing - in this case the traditional ‘bullnose.’
The aesthetic and technical nuances in these two relatively small bespoke pieces highlight the material expertise Daedalian can provide to any project requiring decorative glass.
